I am psychiatrist who specializes in comprehensive, state-of-the-art psychiatric evaluation and medical management of adults, children and adolescents in her private practice in Glastonbury, CT.

I completed my medical residency at the University of Connecticut in 2009 and Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard University in 2011, where I won the Farley award for best outgoing fellow.

I serve a broad spectrum of patients.  Among my areas of expertise are ADD/ADHD, Disruptive behavior disorders, Mood disorders (including Depression and Bipolar disorder), General and Social Anxiety disorders, PTSD/Trauma/Grief, OCD, Eating disorders, Psychosis, Autism spectrum disorders, Parenting difficulties, Personality disorder, Dysfunction related to Low self esteem, Insomnia as well as Relationship and Couples issues.

My practice is Integrative and based on Neuroplasticity – the concept that brain cells can adapt, and even grow, from adversity, if provided with the right, science based, tools.  Some of the tools I use to do this are:

  • Expert Psychopharmacological management.
  • Gene-testing.
  • Neuro-imaging.
  • Positive Psychology.
  • Cutting-edge Psychotherapy methods such as DBT, CBT, EMDR and Gottmans’ couples therapy.
  • Mindfulness techniques.
  • 10 minute Yoga.
  • Positive, Attachment based Parenting.
  • CBT for Insomnia.
  • Creating an Individualized Diet/Nutrition/Supplement plan.
  • Exercise that works for you – AND your brain! (In the spring and summer months, I walk with my patients at a nearby park in Glastonbury, CT. Come join us!)

    And many more.

Since much of this requires your sustained effort, I will work together with you to design a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan as well as goal posts to help you measure progress.

My goal is not just to have you manage your symptoms, it is to help you create your best self.
